Leyland Contract Matt is specially formulated to provide a full bodied, high opacity, matt finish to all interior walls and ceilings making it ideal for new work application.

Coverage:

13 square metres per litre depending on the nature and porosity of the surface.
When using more than one tin of a colour in the same room, intermix before use.

Drying time:

Touch dry in 1-2 hours.
Recoatable after 2-4 hours.

Transportation and storage:

Always store and transport in a secure upright position.
PROTECT FROM FROST.

VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) contribute
to atmospheric pollution.
EU limit value for this product (Cat A/a): 75 g/l (2007) /
30 g/l (2010). This product contains max 15 g/l VOC.

Wet: 90µm
Dry: 22µm

Preparation:
All surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free from
loose and flaking material. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a
suitable face mask if dry sanding. Seal absorbent surfaces with
a solution of up to 1 part water to 9 parts Leyland Contract Matt.

Application:
Stir well before use. Do not thin, except for absorbent surfaces,
or when applying by roller or spray when a small quantity of
clean water may be added. Suitable for application by brush,
roller or spray. Apply paint evenly by brush or roller and avoid
overspreading. If required, a second coat may be applied
after 2 to 4 hours. Do not apply in temperatures below 10˚C.

Cleaning:
Remove as much product as possible from application
equipment before washing. Replace lid firmly. Wash equipment
immediately after use with warm soapy water. Some local
authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste
coatings. Do not empty product into drains or watercourses.

Precautions:

• Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
• In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of
clean water and seek medical advice.
• After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of
soap and water or a recognised skin cleaner.
• When spraying, do not breathe spray, wear suitable respiratory
protective equipment.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
