CHIPBOARD FLOORING
Chipboard flooring, also known as particleboard flooring, is a popular choice for subfloors in construction. It's made from compressed wood particles mixed with resin, which gives it a smooth surface and uniform texture. Chipboard is an affordable and easy-to-install option, especially for areas that will be carpeted or covered with another flooring material.
It comes in moisture-resistant varieties for use in areas like kitchens and bathrooms. However, like MDF, it's not as strong as plywood and can be prone to swelling if exposed to excessive moisture.
